Who we are

Specbench is operated by Specbench Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17363376). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@specbench.io.

What we collect

• What you send through the contact form: your email address, and your name, team size and message if you include them.
• Product analytics via PostHog: page views, clicks, and sign-up and contact conversion events.
• Interactive tour usage, if you open the tour and have accepted cookies: which steps you view and what you click.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) for short-term operational purposes.

Cookies

By default we store nothing on your device: analytics runs in memory only and each visit is anonymous. If you accept cookies in the consent banner, PostHog sets a first-party cookie so we can attribute analytics events across your visits. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser, which is required for the site to remember it. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookies link in the footer. Declining after accepting removes the analytics cookie from your device.

The interactive tour is provided by Supademo and only loads when you open it. Supademo may store data on your device that the tour needs to run. It records how you use the tour only if you have accepted cookies.

How we use your data

Contact form details are used to reply to your enquiry. If you joined our earlier waitlist, we may also email you about Specbench updates. Analytics is used to understand which parts of the site work and where people drop off.

Who we share it with

Contact form details are stored with MailerLite, our email provider. Analytics events are sent to PostHog. If you open the interactive tour, it is served by Supademo, which also receives your tour usage if you have accepted cookies. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

You can email privacy@specbench.io at any time to access, correct, or delete your data. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Retention

We keep contact form details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's defaults.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
