Who we are

What we collect

• Your email address, when you submit it through the waitlist form.
• Product analytics via PostHog — page views, clicks, and waitlist conversion events.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) for short-term operational purposes.

Cookies

By default we store nothing on your device: analytics runs in memory only and each visit is anonymous. If you accept cookies in the consent banner, PostHog sets a first-party cookie so we can attribute analytics events across your visits. Your consent choice itself is stored in your browser, which is required for the site to remember it. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookies link in the footer. Declining after accepting removes the analytics cookie from your device.

How we use your data

Your waitlist email is used only to notify you about the Specbench launch and occasional build-in-public updates. Analytics is used to understand which parts of the site work and where people drop off.

Who we share it with

Waitlist emails are stored with MailerLite, our email provider. Analytics events are sent to PostHog. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

You can email privacy@specbench.io at any time to access, correct, or delete your data. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Retention

We keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's defaults.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
